Our dance class FAQ covers everything you need to know before your first class. Can’t find your answer? Get in touch, we’re happy to help.
Before you start
Do I need a partner?
No. Partners rotate during class so everyone gets to dance and meet new people. Couples are very welcome too.
Do I need any dance experience?
Not at all. Our free beginner class and Open Level classes start from the very first step.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and shoes that turn easily. Avoid grippy sneakers and thongs. Bring a water bottle.
How do I book a free class?
Choose a date on our Free Beginner Class page and fill in the short form. We will send you a confirmation with everything you need to know.
Classes and packs
How do the Tribe Packs work?
Buy a pack of class passes and use them at our regular classes. It works out cheaper per class than casual entry. Every Tribe Pack includes free entry to your first Tribe Nights social.
What are the pack rules?
There is no expiry on the pack you purchase. You can use it anytime.
What if I miss a class?
If you miss a class, you can use it as a credit for the next class you attend. There is no expiry of the pack you purchase.
Tribe Nights
What is Tribe Nights?
Our monthly Salsa & Bachata social party: a relaxed night to practise what you have learned with the whole tribe. Beginners are welcome.

Free Beginners - Street Parking on Ryrie St
Regular Classes - Onsite parking at Newcomb Hall & Street Parking on Wilsons Rd.
